Welcome to White Fields of Inox.

We are a friendly forum driven, turn based (chain writing) collaborative fiction project, incorporating elements of PBM (play by mail) gaming, role playing and most importantly friendly collaborative writing. Scenes and environmental aspects are introduced by the Worldbuilder (a member of this site), and from there characters can then describe their thoughts, actions and decisions. Members are welcome to use the chat and messaging features of this site or external services like Google Docs to make group decisions and construct posts.

The wills, motives and development of the main characters is completely up to the individual writers. Small sub-plot characters also roam the lands. This is an open world for character development and story creation.

Vic, Duncan and Ivan Jester made short work of the journey, galloping past dozens of Gav’s villagers along the way. The old leader’s people could only look on from the sides of the trail, as the white mount streaked past, leaving them with little more than the dust in their eyes and the humble tools in their hands. Pitchforks. Spikes. Rakes. Sometimes nothing at all. North, then east Juliana and Tobermory swung, sticking to the road from whence they’d arrived but only one day gone. They were drawing closer with each half arse hoof slap against rain-soaked clay and crumbling rock. Lorrus’ horse drawn cart trudged the way ahead, albeit rather slowly, with their cargo of Sullo’s corpse and three unscrupulous men... an ever-groaning and unwanted burden. Yes, it looked precarious, all that weight loaded behind it's tailgate. Still, it was either that, or put them out of their misery. “No,” Lorrus had... More

Steve, Vic, Duncan and Ivo The path of coral extended before Robbie like a white-scaled snake, coiled in slumber, around and around and around. To her sides lay the greenery of tobacco, their leaves thick and waxy, planted in dense formations with shadowed and narrow paths between. It must have felt something like a pilgrimage, this long walk, and stranger still as she closed in on the snake’s tail. From within the hole, which was clearly much more than that, came sounds. Sounds both familiar and strange. The echo of voices, the odd merry laugh, the background rumble of people in conversation. She couldn’t make out the words, nor count their numbers, but it was sure that many a man... More
