FAQ & ConditionsWHAT IS DAWN INDUSTRY?: Melbourne Australia based non-profit organisation to support subversive underground music, street culture, art and skate related products. Dawn Industry was founded by digital artist Ivan in Melbourne Australia over a decade ago, working to support an international community of independent artists and musicians. Our projects exist to promote and provide opportunities for artists to get their work seen, heard and appreciated. Our endless mission is to explore and expand awareness to underground art, street culture, music and beyond, through numerous avenues including community websites, our online shop, regular events, festivals, music compilations, friendly meet ups and more. HOW TO CONTRIBUTE: We are always interested in finding new stock for this store! If you have anything underground, hand-made, artistic or independent that you would like us to stock, please contact us. Whilst all Dawn Industry projects are non-profit, we do take commissions from sales ONLY to assist in paying for the fees we incur as a result of operating this web site eg. domain name, hosting and other charges. Any profit generated from commissions is injected straight back into our projects to support underground music, art and culture. We charge a $5 / item setup fee. Stock posted directly from the artist incurs a 10% commission, and stock posted by Dawn Industry incurs a 20% commission. Stock which is digitally distributed incurs a $2 / sale commission. All setup fees described above are one-off and your product remains in our system as long as it is available. Payments are made to contributors via Paypal at any time requested by the contributor. Dawn Industry is not liable to cover any fees incurred through Paypal transactions when sending money to your account. PRIVACY:

You may not otherwise reproduce, retransmit, publish, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display or create derivative works of this material. Any use of the music or other site content is strictly prohibited except for limited promotional mediums such as radio or television interviews and reviews and only with express written permission from Dawn Industry. MEDIA, PRINTING, QUALITY AND PACKAGING We are a distributor of all kinds of media including professionally pressed CDs and hand printed and assembled CD-Rs direct from artists. We believe that CD-R media is often the only viable choice for underground musicians, and expect buyers to assess if this medium plays on their equipment. Our prices reflect the fact that our products are often hand made, and are not mass produced corporate garbage. We are about the music, not shrink wrapped environmental waste. BILLING POLICY We currently only accept payment via Paypal, which incorporates payment via Visa and Mastercard. Dawn Industry will prosecute any fraudulent person to the fullest extent of the law. We reserve the right to refuse/cancel any order for any reason. SHIPPING POLICY Most items are shipped within 48 hours of receiving your order. All orders will be carefully packaged and legibly addressed. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any package shipped to a customer - this is the responsibility of the respective carrier (usually Australia Post). We are willing to assist you in the investigation of the loss or damage of your package. International orders may be delayed due to the respective countrys Customs Department. International orders may be subjected to additional charges due to duties, tariffs, or taxes. BACKORDER POLICY We do not automatically backorder out of stock items. You will not be charged for an item that is out of stock. It is the customers responsibility to re-order an out of stock item - shipping charges apply. PRE-ORDER POLICY We occasionally take pre-orders for upcoming releases. When you "pre-order" an item, you are reserving an item before it is available. By reserving the item, you are guaranteed that Dawn Industry will ship it to you immediately upon its official release. On many occasions, we are able to ship items prior to their official release, however, we can not guarantee that service. Please note that expected release dates, which are provided by the record label or distributor, can be delayed, changed, or cancelled due to unforeseen problems. Items that are considered limited editions have the potential of selling out. We will fill all pre-orders for limited editions on a first-come-first-served basis. RETURN POLICY All sales are considered final. Defective items can be exchanged for an identical item within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us before attempting a return and receive a Return Authorization. We will not accept any unauthorized returns or exchanges. The customer must pay for the returned items shipping costs - we will pay for the replacement items shipping cost. Please contact us for a postal address. All prices are subject to change.
