ENZYME is a semi-regular Melbourne event which provides opportunities for the public with taste, to enjoy Australian underground live music performances and visuals. Previous artists have performed well outside the mainstream through a diverse slather including but not limited to; noise, experimental, avante garde, dark ambient, electronica, industrial, gothic, darkwave, trip hop, dark hip hop, metal and beyond.
What began in 2005 as a local experiment, is now an underground institution and we thank you for your support!
Enzyme is funded by DEMUS (dark electronic music underground) a friendly community of International musicians (who you are welcome to join) and DARK STEREO (online music distributor). Infectious Unease Radio plays a crucial role in promotion, and exposure. All three organisations are NON PROFIT and are organised only to benefit musicians, and the artistic community.

WHEN & WHERE
Venue: Blue Velvet – 60 Smith Street, Collingwood VIC
Time: Doors open 8pm, first band usually performs around 9pm
Tickets: Entry is $8 at door

We are also currently organising a very special Enzyme event for Saturday 2nd October from 5pm – Midnight, and full details will be released shortly.
Venue Facilities:
Downstairs – Bar at Entry, VIP Room, Whiteroom (rear performance area with stage, projector and DJ equipment).
Upstairs – Performance space with Bar, projector and DJ equipment.
ARTISTS INTERESTED IN PERFORMING
We are always on the lookout for new artists to perform at ENZYME! Artists interested in performing should contact us. Please have a CD demo ready.
