The next half…
Half way through 2010 already and there are many things currently being cooked up, so it seemed a good time for an update! Firsty though we want to thank all our kind supporters for all their assistance so far this year.
ENZYME 14
We are currently working on the setlists and artists to perform at Enzyme 14 on the 27th August, so stay tuned for announcements! For a start, we can confirm that one artist performing is one of our favorite local bands, and will be giving their debut live performance on the night. For a little change of pace, we have also invited the Bene Gesserit artists to perform and co-ordinate the activities on the ground floor of the venue, and will no doubt include some wonderful local music and performance art.
A SPECIAL ONE
As some of our artists are already aware, there is a very special event planned for October this year, and we are busting to give you the news…. but we are just confirming some important details first. Trust us though, when we say this will be an event showcasing a huge range of local underground music!
Demus Network members can look forward to an update to V2.2 shortly, which will no doubt bring further features and stability to the website engine. The Demus site uses one of the most advanced social networking backends available, incorporating video sharing, uploads, commenting and chat… and every update to the site takes us closer to the technological edge which we do so adore. We also what to thank the Demus members for so much hard work and help recently. Especially those getting actively involved in promoting the community with flyers, radio shows and donating time and money into items which will be a future investment for all of us.
